The seminar covered P.A. 102-1123, which refines Illinois county governments' ability to regulate commercial wind and solar energy facilities. Legal counsel addressed the new law and outlined components of the sample ordinances provided by the IACBM. The presentation was intended to help guide county board discussions and subsequent zoning standards to meet the statutory requirements.
