Charles "Chuck" LeMoine of Tressler, LLP serves as the chief legal counsel for the Illinois Association of County Board Members and Commissioners. Chuck is a partner who provides client services in both Tressler’s Government and Litigation Practice Groups. He has a wide range of experience in representing counties and other public entities in all aspects of federal and state litigation, arbitration, and other forms of dispute resolution. These include FOIA, OMA, breach of contract, civil rights, sexual abuse, premises liability, vehicular liability, construction-related claims and insurance, employee benefits and worker’s compensation to name just a few.
Chuck has handled a wide array of civil litigation-related matters from the trial court level through appeal. He has tried a number of cases at the federal and state levels. He has also argued cases before both the Illinois Appellate Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Chuck has been a certified arbitrator since 1990. He has also been a featured speaker and author on various topics including violence in the workplace, construction disputes and mechanics liens, risk management techniques, railroad litigation, products liability and professional litigation.
