Ellingsworth Webb was appointed in 2021 to the DeKalb County Board to fill the vacated District 9 seat. Ellingsworth, a DeKalb resident, has been active in community service for decades. He is the board treasurer of DeKalb County Community Gardens. He also works with the Belonging initiative with the city of DeKalb and Northern Illinois University, and previously has worked with the DeKalb County Youth Services Bureau.
